Since its inception in 2017, Fitrah has been solely driven by its volunteers. In their continued commitment, Fitrah has reached many milestones and saved more than half a million dollars without any paid staff. Our youth participating in our program earn a paid stipend with funds provided through our collaborative partners such as Sacramento Employment Training Agency (SETA), Capitol Academy, or Advance Employment Group (AEG). Their unwavering support has empowered the most vulnerable of our society to become productive and contributing members of the community. Our volunteers consist of a talented and diverse group of professionals, stay-at-home moms, and young students as young as ten years old. Each volunteer is driven by the same mission to make a positive impact on the lives of youth. Thanks to their courage and commitment, many youth have been able to realize their full potential and break out of the cycle of poverty. We are thankful for each and every volunteer's support and dedication in making a meaningful and lasting difference in our community.
