PRogram projected for 2020
training women for their future
At Unify Women, we don't take basic needs for granted. We are working on sustainable program that will enhance women’s lives offering them access to practical basic skills and the knowledge necessary to carve out a career path. We bring women together not only so that they can learn, but so they can gain moral support and grow from their shared experiences and help strengthen one another on their common journey.
By taking the time to understand each regional market and business climate that we are engaged in, we offer a training program that is relevant to the types of work environments that the women will be entering. They will thus be able to take the learned skills and use them to not only improve their own lives but help to benefit their entire community.
Beyond simply teaching them business skills and offering vocational prep, Unify Women will also educate women regarding a wide array of cultural, psychological, and sociological topics including reproductive health, coping with stress, family management, social engagement, hygiene, and nutrition. Lastly, we are strong believers that women need to know their rights as human beings and we are incorporating this knowledge into our program.
Program's Long-term Impact:
Promoting Equality – In numerous war-torn countries around the world, women lack the same rights as men; in fact, in some regions, women are encouraged to endure violence in order to “keep the peace” and preserve the “integrity” of their family life. This is not acceptable, and we are working to change it.
Vanquishing Poverty – A large part of the problem is the lack of resources. It is most difficult to emerge from a state of poverty without access to education, vocational training and even just the fundamentals like basic math and reading. By helping to raise women up, we can also end the cycle of poverty.
Caring Communities – Societies grounded in a culture of war have difficulty finding their way out of this deadly cycle. Unify Women wants to encourage peaceful societies, societies that embrace the needs of women otherwise struggling and foster the betterment of all of its people.
The Right to Education – Education needs to be a right, not a privilege. Especially for women from war-ravaged countries, those seeking better, healthier lives, they need access to the educational resources that can truly give their lives new meaning.
Help Prevent Hunger – Still, a problem in so many countries, lack of adequate nourishment is diminishing the quality of life. Unify Women wants to help end hunger in those regions that need it the most.
Spurring Economies – Fostering economies of impoverished countries helps to make the citizens stronger, more confident and broadens the possibilities for so many.
Leading Healthier Lives – Working together we can create healthier, better lives for women across the globe. It starts with your sponsorship and our pledge.
Creating Change Together!
After the Training…
After a year-long training program, the women we coach will be assisted as far as gaining access to financial resources and even the advanced training that they might need to become successful in their own lives. We will introduce them to job placement services, banking resources, as well as cooperatives in which they can interact with others following a similar path toward a brighter, healthier future.
Unify Women is on a mission to empower women affected by a crisis. Our goal is for them to learn, grow and heal. By educating them and showing them how to be entrepreneurs through our programs both locally and around the world, we will empower otherwise struggling women. She will be a better mother, a better wife and more influential person in her community. We are in essence helping not only women but their families, their communities and with this ripple effect, they can help nations thrive.
